On a balmy Spring day, the amazing Thriplow community celebrated 50 years of Daffodil Weekend with a parade of floats, children's games, ice-cream, champagne, a hog roast, speeches and the all important thanks and awards ceremony.
The Thriplow spirit endured and Daffodil Weekend went ahead as scheduled. Our loyal visitors from far and wide helped to keep us going and were as delightful as ever despite the cold.
STARS, our nominated charity, were amazed at the unique warmth and friendliness that purveys throughout Daffodil Weekend, of which we are very proud.
